Rules of
Engagement
Terms & Conditions of Syndicate Membership
// BRIEFING — READ BEFORE YOU OPERATE //
These are the Rules of Engagement for the SnapPact Syndicate Network ("the Platform", "the Network", "SnapPact"). By creating an Agent account or using any part of the Network, you enter into a legally binding agreement with SnapPact Syndicate Operations. These Rules are non-negotiable. There are no exceptions. There are no workarounds. If you cannot comply with these Rules, do not enlist. SnapPact reserves the right to modify these Rules at any time, with notice provided in accordance with Section 12. The mission is raw reality — everything else is noise.
No Filters. No AI. No Fakes.
Prove It Or Lose It.
1.1 — The Prime Directive. SnapPact is a raw reality platform. Every Drop you submit must be an authentic, unedited photograph taken by you, within the current Drop window, in direct response to the active Drop Challenge. This is the entire point of the Syndicate. Violating this rule does not just break a rule — it betrays the entire Network.
1.2 — Prohibited Manipulation. The following are absolutely prohibited and will result in immediate Drop purge and potential Account suspension or permanent ban:
1.3 — Community Enforcement — The Pit. SnapPact operates a community-driven verification system called The Pit. Any Agent can vote on whether a Drop is Real or Fake. Drops that receive a significant Fake vote threshold will be flagged, reviewed, and purged if confirmed inauthentic. The community is the enforcement mechanism. The algorithm does not protect fakes. Neither do we.
1.4 — Sanctions. Violations of Rule 01 result, at SnapPact's sole discretion, in: immediate Drop removal and XP/INK penalty; temporary suspension (first offence); permanent Account ban (repeat offence or egregious violation). Banned Agents may not re-enlist under new accounts. Circumvention attempts will result in all associated accounts being banned.
RULE 02 // Age Requirement — Minimum 13
2.1 — Minimum Age. You must be at least 13 years of age to create a Syndicate Agent account and use the Platform. By enrolling, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. In jurisdictions where a higher minimum age applies for processing personal data (e.g., 16 in certain EU member states), that higher age applies.
2.2 — Parental Consent (Ages 13–17). If you are between the ages of 13 and 17, you confirm that you have obtained verifiable parental or legal guardian consent to use the Platform in any jurisdiction that requires such consent. Your parent or guardian is jointly responsible for your compliance with these Rules.
2.3 — Enforcement. If SnapPact discovers that an Agent is under the applicable minimum age, that account will be immediately suspended and all associated personal data purged in accordance with the Syndicate Privacy Protocol. Report suspected underage accounts to [email protected].
RULE 03 // Zero Tolerance — Prohibited Content
3.1 — Absolute Prohibitions. The following content is categorically prohibited on the Platform and will result in immediate Drop removal, Account suspension or ban, and where required by law, reporting to appropriate authorities:
Child Safety. Any content that sexually exploits, endangers, depicts, or facilitates harm to minors. Zero tolerance. Zero exceptions. Will be reported to NCMEC and applicable law enforcement immediately.
Illegal Activity. Content that depicts, promotes, facilitates, or glorifies criminal activity, including but not limited to violence, drug manufacture or trafficking, theft, terrorism, or weapons offences.
Graphic Violence & Gore. Photographs depicting gratuitous gore, real-world violence against people or animals, or content designed to shock or traumatise without legitimate documentary purpose.
Non-Consensual Imagery. Any intimate or sexual content posted without the explicit consent of all individuals depicted. Violations will be reported to law enforcement.
Hate Content. Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
Harassment & Doxxing. Content intended to intimidate, threaten, or expose the private information of any individual without their consent.
Misinformation. Content deliberately designed to deceive, including falsely attributing events, places, or circumstances in a Drop description.
3.2 — Reporting. If you encounter content that violates Rule 03, use the in-Platform report function or contact [email protected] with subject line CONTENT_VIOLATION. SnapPact will review all reports within 48 hours.
04 // Your Reality, Your Rights — Content Ownership & License
4.1 — You Own Your Drops. Agents retain full ownership of all original photographs they submit to the Platform. SnapPact does not claim ownership of your imagery. You are the creator. The Syndicate is the arena.
4.2 — The Platform License. By submitting a Drop, you grant SnapPact Syndicate Operations a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and promote the submitted photograph for the following purposes only:
Displaying your Drop in The Pit for community evaluation during its active voting window.
Featuring approved Drops in The Ledger — SnapPact's public showcase of verified, authentic captures.
Promotional use of the Platform (e.g., app store screenshots, social media promotion of the Network) where your Drop may be shown as an example of authentic content. You will be credited by your Agent handle wherever technically feasible.
Archiving for Platform integrity purposes (e.g., detecting duplicate submissions).
4.3 — Scope Limitation. This license does not grant SnapPact the right to sell your photographs to third parties, license them for commercial uses unrelated to Platform promotion, or use them in contexts you would reasonably find objectionable. We will not use your Drops in advertising campaigns for unrelated products or services.
4.4 — Your Warranty. By submitting a Drop, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are the sole author of the photograph; (b) you own all necessary rights to grant this license; (c) the photograph does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or personality rights; and (d) you have obtained any necessary consents from people appearing in the photograph in jurisdictions where such consent is required.
05 // Agent Account Responsibilities
5.1 — Account Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are fully liable for all activity conducted through your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, notify [email protected] immediately.
5.2 — One Account Per Agent. Each person may maintain only one Agent account. Creating duplicate or secondary accounts to circumvent bans, inflate scores, or manipulate The Pit is prohibited and will result in all associated accounts being terminated.
5.3 — Account Integrity. You may not sell, transfer, or share access to your Agent account. Agent rank, XP, INK, and streak records are non-transferable and have no monetary value outside the Platform.
06 // XP, INK & In-Platform Currency
6.1 — No Real-World Value. XP (Experience Points) and INK (Premium in-Platform currency) are virtual items with no monetary value, are not redeemable for real currency, and cannot be transferred between accounts. They exist solely to power Platform mechanics and unlock features within the Network.
6.2 — Platform Control. SnapPact reserves the right to adjust, reset, or modify XP and INK balances, rewards structures, and earning mechanics at any time. Such changes are not subject to compensation. SnapPact may also reset balances as a sanction for Rule violations.
6.3 — INK Purchases. Where INK is available for purchase with real currency, all sales are final unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law. Refund requests for purchases must be submitted within 14 days to [email protected].
07 // Platform Availability & Modifications
SnapPact does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the Platform. The Network may be modified, suspended, or terminated at any time for maintenance, security upgrades, or operational changes. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned downtime. SnapPact is not liable for any loss of streaks, XP, or INK resulting from planned or unplanned downtime.
08 // Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SNAPPACT AND ITS OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR ANY OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM. IN JURISDICTIONS THAT DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Nothing in these Rules excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law in your jurisdiction.
09 // Agent Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SnapPact Syndicate Operations and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your violation of these Rules; (b) your Drops or other content you submit; (c) your violation of any third party's rights; or (d) your violation of applicable law.
10 // Governing Law & Disputes
These Rules and any dispute arising from them shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SnapPact Syndicate Operations is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. For Agents in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence will apply. For Agents in the United States, you agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration on an individual basis, waiving the right to participate in class action lawsuits, except where prohibited by law.
11 // Termination — Yours or Ours
11.1 — By You. You may deactivate your Agent account at any time via account settings or by requesting an Account Purge per the Privacy Protocol. Termination does not retroactively remove content already publicly displayed in The Pit or The Ledger; contact [email protected] for takedown requests.
11.2 — By SnapPact. We may suspend or permanently terminate your account, at our sole discretion, for any violation of these Rules, for conduct that we determine to be harmful to the Network or its Agents, or for any legal requirement to do so. We are not obligated to provide advance notice of termination for violations.
11.3 — Effect of Termination. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Rules that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 04, 08, 09, and 10) will continue in full force.
12 // Amendments to These Rules
SnapPact reserves the right to update these Rules of Engagement at any time. When material changes are made, Agents will be notified via their registered email and/or a prominent in-Platform alert at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Network after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Rules. If you do not accept the revised Rules, you must cease using the Platform and may request an Account Purge.
